Gingko Front and Back
Here is one of my new pendants that I have been working on this week. I love the gingko tree and its leaves and decided this would make a great pendant. I wish I had room to plant a gingko in my yard, but alas, it’s too large of a tree for my small city lot. The leaves have a really beautiful fan shape. I’m going to post this one for sale on Etsy this morning.
On another note, I just joined mom-co.com which is a website that has links to artisans and other businesses that might have gifts or items for mothers. I think it’s items for moms by moms, though I don’t think you have to be a mom to have a link on mom-co. The site is divided into items for baby, mom, accessories and more. I found this site on the Etsy boards and the owner, Christina, was offering Etsyians a very good introductory price to join. There’s a link to mom-co in my side bar.

The idea of using the fan shaped leaf is wonderful! I don’t know how you manage to fit such fun things on such a small space.
Thanks for the heads up about the mom site. I’ll have to go check that out!

Thanks Pinky, I use an exacto to cut items out and try to practice patience. Yesterday, I finished 4 more pendants and 2 pairs of earrings and I let more than one 4 letter word escape my mouth!!!

I’ve been all about the ginkos lately, too. I did some freezer paper stencils.

They have such cool leaves! There are not many trees I get really excited about…. What are freezer paper stencils?
