Have a good weekend!
My best friend from Maine and her 2 kids and husband are visiting until Tuesday! I’m so excited that they decided to spend their summer vacation with us! I haven’t seen her since last summer, so we have a lot of catching up to do.
Needless to say, I’m trying to show her the best of Denver and probably won’t post or paint until Tuesday. So many things on the docket, so little time.
I painted this yesterday…Fresh Lemons from my fruit bowl. 2.5 x 3.5 inches, acrylic on paper, #28.
Until then…toodles.
Note: I owe a huge apology to Amber (who tagged me) and thanks to Pinky for pointing my faux pas to me. I accidentally wrote “Amanda” tagged me…that’s what happens when I post in the AM before I have consumed my caffeine and I check my “p”s and “q”s. So sorry! {{Hugs!}}

This is a great green. Did you mix it or use it straight?

Thanks janvangogh! It’s one of my favorite greens…it’s a kelly green sort of color (don’t have the name in front of me) mixed with cadmium yellow. It creates a sort of limey green tone.

I was going to guess light yellow cadmium with a Pthalo green based green. Very nice.

I have always thought lemons one of the most difficult fruits to do colourwise. You did a really nice job. Hope you have loads of fun with your friend and her family.
