I wish I didn’t need to sleep!

Arghhh, I couldn’t upload my photo from Blogger, so I tried blogging directly from my flickr account and that failed too, even after updating my settings etc. I finally grabbed my photo’s url and pasted it here.
But, now, I’ve wasted more time. I had originally written that I am going to impose a time limit on my computer activities, because despite my best intentions hours can pass and my to-do list doesn’t get any shorter. So here it is, a mini art quilt that I completed this morning.
I have so many things I want to do and not enough hours in the day. If only I didn’t need to sleep!
This is constructed from fabric, felt, embroidery floss, thread, fused applique and beads. Click here to bid.

Ooooh this one is a real beauty Cyn and maybe my favorite of your little quilts so far but I love ‘em all. I love that golden butterfly against the red background and the purple border and stitches is perfect! I guess we have to sleep to recharge our batteries but I know what you mean, it takes up too much time LOL!

I totally know what you mean! I wish I could get by with 3-4 hours of sleep. Luckily, my husband has offered to help me with my business so I can take it to the next level. I wish I could say he’s just being nice but in reality, he wants me to make more money so he can quit his job and become self employed too! I guess I’d better not complain!

I suppose that would be like finding the fountain of youth…could make me a rich woman! On the flip side, I really like sleeping and dreaming!

Oh, Cynthia! I’m dying to know how this “time limit” thing works for you. I tried it . . . once.

What a lovely quilt! I totally understand what you mean - there are so much to do that I wish I didn’t need to sleep. On top of that - I wish my kids could sleep more.

WJ, the time limit isn’t working so well, but I did take a break from making art and blogging while I wasted more time!
Fennymun…welcome back, I haven’t seen you for awhile! I have been blessed with a child who loves to sleep ever since she was about 8 months old. But, I need a crane to wake her up!

You need to find a busier person than you. Dont they say if you want something done, give it to a busy person?

That’s too funny Janet! I, myself, thrive on deadlines and tight schedules. It’s like lighting a fire…I can move very fast!
