I really like these little house shaped wall pieces and was a little disappointed that they didn’t sell in person at the Fancy Tiger Sale I did a few weeks ago. People were attracted to the houses, but were a bit confused by how to use them. I’ve attached wood blocks and a metal eye hook to the reverse so that they can be arranged vertically or horizontally on a wall. The wood block is only about 1.5″ square so when a tile is displayed on the wall, it has the illusion of floating.
A lot of people asked if they were night lights… Food for thought, but no. It would be cool to make some porcelain ones, leave them unglazed like a lithopane. But, alas, that is a project for another day.
My in-laws flew into town yesterday and will be here through the Christmas holidays. Needless to say my Blog, Etsy Shop and other online activities will be managed by a skeletal crew. **hehehehe**
