And it needs a little bit of help – more like some TLC after being a rental for the past 11 years.
But, pink tile is very hard to work with and the bathroom leaked terribly into the kitchen below.
And have to pick out new fixtures and such within a reasonable budget. Why is everything I like so dang expensive?
How we’ll manage to have this finished and move in ready next month??? My fingers are crossed.
Meanwhile, I am going to try to make some simple plaster cup molds today.
Wish me luck,
Cynthia

I guess that you have expensive tastes!???!!
Cute with the dog wondering what was going on.
As the old saying goes, “I have champagne tastes and a beer budget.”
Good luck! I feel your pain, been there!
Meredith – You do know what it’s like, don’t you? Glad to see that you’re back in business!
hey, you’ve changed your page again..getting ready for the landscapey/designer look ?? and your going to fit a kitchen in that time..wow hope the leaks fixed..
Ang – you are so very observant and perceptive! I was messing around with new templates yesterday and like this one. It still needs work, but since I don’t entirely know what I’m doing, it takes a bit of time to get it right. Big sigh, luckily I don’t have a studio this fall that sucks away all my energy, so I hope to have the house ship shape by Christmas.
What a cute, almost arts and crafts style bungalow. Oh no, that pink bathroom called out to me. Is that lath and plaster walls?
Hope you post how you make your molds – I have been thinking of making some molds but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Where does all the time go?
Good luck with the remodeling. At least the major part is being done before you move in – that’s a life saver, believe me.
Linda – it is of that era, unfortunately, the original owner totally remodeled the home in the 50’s including replacing the brick the brick front porch with wrought iron. If we decide to stay in the home, we will restore the porch. It really has made me aware of what “modernization” can do to a vintage structure. It’s not always sensitive.
you mean you didn’t like the pink tiled wall?
I tried, Jim, I really tried!
