celadon glazed round vase

This is my second year in a row that I have been a member of Denver Fit, a marathon and 1/2 marathon training group. We meet every Saturday morning for group runs, then run on our own during the week. I’m training for a 1/2. I don’t know if I even want to try to run 26.2 miles ever.

Denver Fit is part of a nation wide training program called USA Fit. It is really a great program and one that I highly recommend if you are thinking about tackling a 1/2 or full marathon, want to get in shape or enjoy physical torture in general. I get just the right amount of information, coaching and camaraderie to get me through these runs. We are scheduled for 5 miles today. I’m sorely lacking in motivation this morning, maybe it is the pizza I ate around 8 last night and the 1/2 bottle of cab that I drank or maybe I just need to finish my coffee.

Here is a 4″ tall round celadon glazed vase that came out of the kiln a few weeks ago. The Denver Art Market is on the 10th and 11th and I am getting my inventory ready, photographing my work and pricing (which I find to be the most difficult chore).
