I know I was going to take a little blog break over the holidays, but I thought I should share some snow photos from the “Blizzard of ‘06″. It was kind of nice being housebound for a couple of days. Today we managed to get our cars out…they were buried, but really there was no where to go because everything was closed down.

Our patio furniture is buried!

OH! Cynthia this is wonderful!! Baby Pinky and I are looking through the pictures and she is telling me that we need to come to your house for the snow!!! HA! With mornings around 61 degrees, I can’t say I don’t agree with her!
I hope that you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!! HUGS!
I love the photo of zuzu, and what a beautiful dog. Oh, I am just shivering as I look at the pics.
OMG Cyn what a lot of snow you got out there! I would love to trade you some of our warm rain here for some of that pretty white snow! Love your photos! Y’all have a wonderful Christmas!
Hey Pinky,
Send baby Pinky on over, my girl should would love a sledding partner!
Thanks Jafabrit…I think Zuzu is definitely a dog that only her mother could love…and maybe other dog lovers!
The snow is gorgeous, Lyn, but I’m starting to get a little stir crazy. Things are slowly getting back to normal though.
Hi, Cynthia,
I’m on a blog break too (uh-huh), and just came by to see if you’d posted any snow pics!
Wow, the one of your patio furniture really tells the tale!
Let your in-laws know that they’re missing the holiday cold front. Suddenly, it’s very chilly here (43 degrees as I type this) — and WET. Just a few days ago it was 81 degrees.
Go figure!
Merry Christmas. Glad to hear you have managed to shovel your way out. Isnt crisp pure white snow lovely to LOOK at?
I heard that the airport in Denver (the only place I’ve been in Denver…) was shut down at the same time as London’s airports m– one due to snow, the other due to fog!
Merry Christmas, Cynthia, and enjoy the white Christmas. I’m jealous!
OMG!!! That’s a lot of snow! None of that in MA, thankfully…I LOVE Zuzu, too. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, Cynthia=:)
Greettsss Photooooooo,,nice to seeee
Fabulous pics and so glad to hear you and your family got through it okay. I was worried! Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Cynthia, those are such gorgeous pictures. I have never been in snow and I suffer terribly in cold weather but snow makes everything looks so beautiful.
Great photos, Cynthia!
I just posted snow pics on my blog too. We had close to a foot of snow here in Albuquerque last night. I know that’s nothing compared to what you have had, but for us it’s a record! We haven’t seen this much snow since we moved back from Colorado in fact!!
Happy New Year!
