My first attempt ever at a movie. I apologize for the shakiness of the camera…very Blair Witch like. I was using my digital camera and had to try about 6 times before I got it right. I actually got it on the 5th time, but You Tube wouldn’t take it because the resolution was too high. I re-shot the video at a lower resolution and that seemed to do the trick.
I’m always surprised by the way my voice sounds caught on tape. Is that really how I sound? I know you can’t answer that, but maybe my family can.
We spent Sunday afternoon in the garage trying to bring some order to it. Now that it’s starting to warm up here, I’m getting really antsy to start the build out of the garage into a studio space. I want to start NOW! I realized that yesterday when I decided to go to the Art Student’s League to do some ceramic work and had to return home because a class was in session. Being able to work whenever I want to regardless of time of day or day of week would be hugely beneficial.
Have a good weekend all, and for those of you finally experiencing winter weather, stay warm!
Oh, thank you Pinky for letting me know that one of my fabric postcards made it on the Front Page of Etsy yesterday. Darn, I missed it!

Cindy, Yes that is a half full garage… but I think it is half empty! I wish the amount of items we store was a few as yours!! We have 1500sqft of storage and most is up to the 10 ft ceilings. I will watch your progress and be inspired!
Good Luck
Nikki
That was VERY KEWL! I LOVED IT! Your garage looks like ours. No I take that back. Ours looks worse!!!! It will be wonderful to have your own studio right there! I am excited for you! More space to be creative! YOU GO GIRL!
I like the way your think, Nikki!
Thanks Angela! It’s really a matter of going in there and letting a few things go and then finding storage for the items we want to keep.
Unfortunately, the You Tube video quality isn’t too great. It’ looked much better in quick time.
OH! Having your own space will be perfect!! And if you want to get rid of that piano, I would love to take it off your hands!
I wish you had of seen your fish on the front page! I was on the phone with someone when I just yelled out “OH! Cynthia’s on the front page!!” I was very excited for you!!
Can’t wait to see how it all turns out! GOOD LUCK!!
Of course it can be done! And you are just the girl to do it. It would be neat to have one place I think, for art stuff. Mine is all over the house, and sometimes…well, it takes over. It is my DH’s biggest complaint. Good luck and I like the video and your voice. I think it fits just right.
That was so cool. Nice to hear your voice and see a little more of who you are.
I think you can do this no problem…getting started will be the hardest part.
And congrats on the front page of Etsy…sorry you missed it, but glad to hear your work was there!
congrats on the front page of etsy, too coooooooool!
ps. you have a lovely voice.
Dont you hate how weather can keep you from your plans.
How nice to have a place of your own to create anytime. Gotta tell you that you have a great voice for video.
oooh you have a wonderful space for your studio here! I enjoyed your film and you have a very nice voice. I know what you mean though, I always feel weird when I hear my recorded voice.
We can all relate to our own private space to paint. I am painting in the middle of my house at the moment. I had a big studio but down sized a bit too much I think.
Thanks for your interest on my blog. I am sure you will enjoy the networking audio. Your blog has reminded me to post Alyson’s links Whoops - so much to do
Cheers
